The SVT650X is powered by a two-cylinder V-twin engine. Power output of 76.2 horsepower at 9,000 rpm places this model at the top in this capacity and engine type category. Maximum torque is 65 Nm at 8,000 rpm. The engine with a V-cylinder arrangement is characterized by a smaller width than inline engines, which translates into better handling while driving.

The 43 mm inverted fork allows for preload and rebound damping adjustment and provides 145 mm of travel This all guarantees trouble-free riding on any terrain, as well as comfort at higher speeds on the road. The rear shock has adjustable spring preload.
The clear, state-of-the-art TFT display clearly shows the current speed, current RPM, odometer, fuel tank content, driving time, and also includes an indicator of the gear engaged. An additional feature is a tire pressure indicator.
The SVT650X uses tubeless wheels with outboard-mounted spokes and MAXXIS MAXVENTURE brand tires designed specifically for this type of motorcycle.
