TRK 702 is actually a versatile tourer, a two-wheeler that provides maximum comfort for the rider and passenger, as well as excellent riding experience and pleasure. This adventure motorcycle, developed at the Benelli Research and Development Center in Pesaro, expands and complements the TRK range, positioning itself in the mid-class.
An easy, intuitive motorcycle, perfect for long journeys, powered by a brand-new 689cc Benelli twin-cylinder engine, precisely developed to fill the gap between 500cc and 800cc engines. Leveraging the experience gained from developing both types of engines, the adopted technical solutions were optimized with a focus on reducing dimensions and weight, resulting in a significant increase in performance. As a result, the engine delivers a power output of 76.2 HP and a torque of 68.2 Nm, ensuring speed and responsiveness.
Equipped with a traditional trellis frame derived from the 502 model, capable of guaranteeing stability in any conditions, especially on long journeys. The suspension consists of a 50mm upside-down fork with 140mm travel at the front, and a swingarm with a centrally mounted shock absorber with adjustable pre-load and rebound damping, offering 50mm travel (168mm at the wheel) at the rear.
Comfort and functionality are the distinctive features of the TRK 702, which comes standard with a large windscreen, providing optimal protection for both the rider and passenger. Optionally available are heated grips and rider seat, conveniently activated by illuminated buttons on the handlebars.
The dual, semi-floating 320mm disc with a four-piston caliper at the front, and a 260mm disc with a single-piston caliper at the rear ensure high braking performance. It comes with factory-installed 17-inch alloy wheels fitted with Pirelli Angel GT tires in sizes 120/70-17 and 160/60-17.
Designed as a travel motorcycle, the TRK 702 features a 20-liter fuel tank and offers comfortable passenger handles. It also features a full LED headlight and a 5-inch high-resolution TFT color display that connects to the phone via Bluetooth, enabling the display of incoming calls. The controls on the handlebars also allow for answering or ending calls. Optionally, the TRK 702 is equipped with an innovative integrated onboard camera located on the front "beak" of the vehicle, allowing real-time recording of videos and taking photos through a dedicated mobile application.
The design of the new TRK 702, created by the Benelli Design Studio in Pesaro, is based on original, distinctive lines, retaining the family character typical of the TRK family but evolving to create a more aggressive and modern style, giving the motorcycle an undeniable personality.
