Peugeot Motocycles is a French manufacturer of scooters and small motorcycles.
The company operates as a subsidiary of the Indian manufacturer Mahindra, which owns 100% of Peugeot Motocycles as of 2019.
Peugeot built its first motorcycle in 1898 with the ""De Dion-Bouton"" engine. mounted on the rear wheel. This model was shown at the Paris World's Fair in 1898, but was never put into production.
