Kawasaki KD 125

The Kawasaki KD125 was a small-displacement motorcycle produced in the early 1970s. It was designed primarily for off-road use, but could also be ridden on the street.

The KD125 was powered by a two-stroke, single-cylinder engine with a displacement of 124cc. It was air-cooled and featured a rotary disc valve for improved performance. The engine was mated to a five-speed manual transmission that allowed the rider to select the appropriate gear for different terrain types.

The bike featured a lightweight frame, with a telescopic front fork and twin shocks in the rear for suspension. It had 21-inch wheels with knobby tires for improved traction on dirt and gravel surfaces.

The KD125 was also equipped with a number of off-road features, including a skid plate to protect the engine and underside of the bike, and a high-mounted air intake to prevent dust and debris from entering the engine. It also had a tall handlebar for improved control while standing on the footpegs, and a high-mounted exhaust to prevent damage while riding over obstacles.

Overall, the Kawasaki KD125 was a reliable and capable off-road motorcycle that was popular with riders looking for an affordable and easy-to-ride bike for exploring the great outdoors. While it may be considered outdated by today's standards, it remains a classic and beloved bike among vintage motorcycle enthusiasts.
