Italjet

Italjet Moto Srl (Italjet) is an Italian motorcycle manufacturer based in Castel San Pietro Terme in Bologna, Italy. The company was founded in 1959 in San Lazzaro, Bologna by Leopoldo Tartarini.
The company has a long history in the production of light motorcycles, scooters and more recently quad bikes.
In the 90's she launched the "Dragster", "Formula"" and "Velocifero" models. In 1998, the Italjet Formula was on display as part of The Art of the Motorcycle exhibition at the Guggenheim Museum of Modern Art in New York.

In 2005, the company was taken over by Massimo Tartarini, the son of the owner. Under his leadership, the company developed lightweight touring bikes based on the frame and engine of the Korean Hyosung 650, as well as a new updated "Italjet Dragster".
