Garelli Motorcycles is an Italian manufacturer of mopeds and motorcycles. The company was founded in 1919 by Alberto Garelli.
In 1919, Garelli built a 350cc motorcycle that set a record for long distances from Milan to Naples. Many famous Italian riders such as Ernesto Gnesa, Tazio Nuvolari and Achille Varzi started their racing careers on Garelli bikes. The 350cc Garelli was produced until 1926 and made a huge impact on racing. The company also produced motorcycles for the Royal Italian Army. After the Second World War, Garelli focused on producing smaller bicycles and mopeds for the European market.
In the early 1980s, Garelli dominated the 125 class in Grand Prix motorcycle racing, winning six consecutive world championships between 1982 and 1987.
In 2019, on its 100th anniversary, the company returns to the market with all-electric products: Ciclone Sic58 and E-Bike Ciclone Sic58 in collaboration with the Marco Simoncelli Foundation.
