Dafra Motos was founded in 2007 on the basis of the concept of "CKD" (completely knocked down), importing disassembled Asian bikes from such manufacturers as Loncin, Lifan and Zongshen and assembling them in Manaus, Brazil, where Dafra has its own factory.
Dafra Motorcycles has partnered with TVS Motor Company of India (India's third largest motorcycle manufacturer), Haojue (China Suzuki motorcycle manufacturer), BMW, Ducati, MV Agusta, KTM and SYM Motors to seek enhancements to their products.
To meet the needs of the Krakow market, Dafra built a factory in the industrial district of Manaus (Amazon), which covers 170,000 m² of land and 35,000 m² of buildings. The factory currently employs over 500 people and has an annual production capacity of 200,000 motorcycles.
