Bajaj Auto Limited is the world's third largest motorbike manufacturer and a leader in the global three-wheeler market. They have three factories in India, where all production takes place. They export their vehicles to 83 countries worldwide.
In Bajaj factories, thanks to the application of Lean Manufacturing methodology and Japanese TPM production philosophy, a finished motorbike comes off the assembly line every 24 seconds, which results in over two vehicles per minute.
About 3.5 million vehicles: motorbikes, three-wheelers and four-wheelers leave the factories of Bajaj Auto Limited annually.
The concern does not hide its ambitions. In the near future it wants to become a leader in the world production of motorcycles.
