The TRK 702X is, in fact, a mature motorcycle, for those who want a solid, authentic and easy-to-use unicycle. This vehicle is capable of guaranteeing optimum performance without subjecting the rider to difficulties. Developed by Benelli's Research and Development Center and Design Office to expand the range of adventure motorcycles positioned in the mid-range segment.
Conceived and developed entirely in Pesaro, the motorcycle features a unique and highly recognizable design, shared with its sister road-oriented version without the ,,X", with smooth and dynamic lines that give this unicycle a very aggressive character and a strong identity.
The TRK 702X project was born out of the need to expand on the concepts introduced in the 800 model, capturing and making recognizable the design's most distinctive styling elements, transforming them into features typical of the TRK family.
Equipped with the same new 698cc Benelli engine as its sister version without the ,,X", the TRK 702X achieves a maximum power of 76.2 hp and a maximum torque of 68.2 Nm.
Likewise, in keeping with tradition, the motorcycle features a truss frame derived from the 502, developed with precision to ensure maximum agility both on and off the road. The TRK 702X's optimal weight balance, designed to never trouble riders, makes it an ideal motorcycle for long distances, regardless of conditions. Not least because of its suspension configuration, which includes an upside-down front fork with 50mm shins and 140mm of travel, and an aluminum swingarm with a center shock absorber with spring preload adjustment and hydraulic rebound damping, with 50mm of travel (173 at the wheel).
The braking system consists of a 320-mm-diameter dual disc with a floating two-piston caliper at the front and a 260-diameter disc with a floating single-piston caliper at the rear. The 19-inch front and 17-inch rims with steel spokes are fitted with 110/80 and 150/70 Pirelli Scorpion Rally STR tires.
Although the TRK 702X is definitely an adventure motorcycle, special attention is paid to comfort and performance. Like the road version, this new unicycle comes standard with a large fairing that perfectly protects both rider and passenger. Optional features include heated grips and a heated rider's seat, which can be easily activated with an illuminated button on the handlebars. The TRK 702X has a 20-liter tank. A full set of LED lights offers an original and instantly recognizable design. This two-wheeler also offers a 5-inch high-resolution color TFT display that allows Bluetooth connectivity to a cell phone and display of incoming calls. Steering wheel controls allow you to answer or end calls.
As an option, the TRK 702X also has an innovative on-board camera integrated into the front "bow," which allows for real-time video recording and photo taking using a cell phone app.
